My name is Codou Diop, I am a working mom of two, I live in Austin, TX. I am originally from Senegal, from a little island off the coast of Dakar called GorΓ©e, and have been quite the globe trotter, before settling down in the US, I have lived in France and Canada.
As far as I can remember I have always been passionate about fashion and interior design. Growing up in SΓ©nΓ©gal I have always been mesmerized by the garments my mother and the women in my family wore. All the different textures and the vibrant colors of the African fabrics have always been a source of inspiration for me.
I have created Codou’s Way in February 2017 to celebrate my love for design and fashion. It will be a place where I will be sharing: my personal style, African designers, beauty products I have discovered etc.
