Happy Saturday Loves! Are you enjoying the endless summer we are having or like me, can you not wait for fall to be here? Unfortunately here in Texas we almost never have fall weather. I cannot wait to shoot fall fashion looks. This red floral two-piece maxi skirt is probably one of my favorite looks this summer, but I have to admit I was very hesitant to post it. The day of my shoot I got super bloated (TMI I know lol), I am sure a lot of you know how that feels, here I was super excited to shoot with a new talented local photographer, I had my looks ready and knew they would look cute, and I looked 3 months pregnant.
I know it may sound vain, but when I got my pics all I could see was my belly. And then I told myself: Codou stop focusing on what you think your body should look like and appreciate the woman you have become. lol
So here I am belly pooch and all!
I love floral prints, I think they are perfect for summer, I love the front of the skirt, the button-down front and the ruffle hemline make it a cute flirty skirt. I usually don’t wear crop tops, but wearing the skirt higher made it more comfortable for me. I paired it with my favorite pair of Michael Kors platform wedges.
I found this round raffia bag at Zara and I fell in love, it is the perfect bag for this outfit. Doesn’t this look have the same vibe as Beyonce’s birthday look? Or am I reaching lol? It has that same kind of boho chic feel.
I got this set from Vici Collection, the skirt is unfortunately sold out, but I have linked similar options below for you. You can easily mix and match this look, you can wear the skirt with a chunky knit sweater during fall. Or you can pair the top with jeans.

Hydrangeas are my favorite flowers, every Saturday I offer myself a bouquet to show myself appreciation. Am I the only one who does that?
