Hey Loves,
Wow I have been MIA for a long time, it has been really hard juggling my daily jobs and blogging, but I am back!
It is that time of the year again, last weekend was the first weekend of SXSW festivities. I had a chance to attend the Create and Cultivate Women to Watch pop-up. This is the second one of their events I have attended, and I am so happy I did. The two hours waiting in line were absolutely worth it.
First of all since I got a chance to be part of the first 100, I got a goodie bag, I love free stuff LOL. The goodies were great: hair products, cute pins, Notebooks, calendars etc.
The speakers couldn’t be more inspiring, I learned so much and was just so impressed by the amazing ladies on the panels. The past couple of months I have been really doubting myself and thinking about these goals that I set and how I am going to reach them.
Listening to all the speakers invigorated me and boosted my drive and determination.
The cherry on the cake was my girl Gina Rodriguez’s keynote, I fell in love with her the first time I watched Jane the Virgin, she is so passionate about female empowerment. I also had a chance to meet some pretty cool local bloggers, so thank you Create and Cultivate.
But I am rambling let’s get to the look I picked for the day π Yasss gingham is still trendy and I am here for it. This is a look for less for sure. I had no idea Target had all the cute fashion at such affordable prices. The dress was super affordable, it is part of the Who What Wear line.
Since the weather was surprisingly very warm, I was going for aΒ “vacation in the south of France look”, I paired it with some brown Michael Kors wedges and this one of a kindΒ Β Zara cage bag
This is definitely a look I will be wearing a lot this spring and summer. What are your favorite spring/summer trends this year? Please let me know in the comments.
Thank you for reading
