Let’s talk skincare! I have a combination skin: my T-zone area is oily and the rest of my face is normal. I also suffer from acne, so I really have to watch what I put on my skin, because I break out very easily. I have had a love-hate relationship with my skin for a long time (acne, oily and sensitive skin). I am a big fan of masks and love trying new skincare products.
I absolutely love L’Oreal’s Pure Clay masks, every single one of them helps with a specific concern I have with my combination skin.
So what exactly is multi-masking? This method consists of applying different face masks to different areas of your face at the same time, this allows you to address different issues on different parts of your face.
This is a great method for someone like myself with combination skin. I chose to apply the mattifying clay face mask to my T-Zone, the detox and brighten mask to the areas of my face that tend to break out to clean my pores, and the refining clay face mask to any rough parts.
The Purify & Mattify mask is god-sent for my oily T-zone, it is a mask for clogged pores with Eucalyptus to purify and mattify your skin. The eucalyptus in it makes it really refreshing.
The Exfoliate & Refining mask is enhanced with Red Algae Extract to exfoliate and refine your pores. I love that it minimizes my huge pores.
The Detox & Brighten mask is a charcoal mask that detoxifies and illuminates your skin. This one is my favorite, it really draws out all the oil and impurities from my pores, and it is non-drying. Your skin will have a healthy glow after this mask.
The Clear & Comfort mask is the newest of the L’Oreal Pure Clay mask line, I decided to try it separately and not include it in my multi-masking routine. The seaweed is supposed to comfort stressed skin. I love the smell of this mask, I definitely saw a difference after the first use, my skin felt soft and smooth.
I honestly give a thumbs up to all four masks, I get at home spa facials at a cheap cost. Have you tried them? Let me know what you think in the comments. xoxo
